Sarah MalamChief Executive Officer
Sarah Malam
Sarah Malam has nearly 30 years' experience in the education sector as a teacher, the last 20 of which have been as a Headteacher of 3 different primary schools both in Warwickshire and Coventry Local Authority. Working as a Strategic Leader as part of the Castle Phoenix Teaching School and as an inspector for Ofsted, she has spent significant time in primary schools across the region, developing teaching and learning practices and delivering professional development for teachers and leaders to improve outcomes for pupils. Sarah has a deep professional understanding of best practice in teaching and learning. She undertakes inspection work on behalf of Ofsted and is commissioned by the Romero MAC to deliver leadership development support for middle leaders. Sarah is the chair of the local network of 10 schools.

William BrackenDirector
William Bracken
Will has 26 years' working for Peugeot Citroen Motor Company in a variety of roles, which include, Used Car Sales, Logisitics, Managing exterior suppliers and is currently an Area Manager working closely with the Dealer network to improve their profitability, retention and Customer Satisfaction.
Having children who have had a great experience in Key Sage 1 and 2 Will is passionate about supporting the Trust to ensure every child gets the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
He has played Rugby and Football within Coventry for more years than he wishes to remember and is an avid Rugby fan following International Rugby.

John WilkinsonDirector
John Wilkinson
John has over 25 years experience in technology and telecommunications, including the last 12 years as a Company Director and technology investor, he is currently CEO of TMT Analysis, a Mobile Intelligence company. John particularly enjoys motivating teams and developing a culture where everyone can enjoy their work and create their own success and satisfaction.
John is experienced managing financial, administration and legal teams and processes to ensure compliance, with particular expertise in areas such as AML and GDPR.

Ian ChaplinDirector
Ian Chaplin
Ian has almost 30 years’ experience in Local Government as a Chartered Surveyor and is currently Head of Investment Property Management at Birmingham City Council. His work experience includes managing large revenue and expenditure budgets across a diverse property portfolio, decision making and management of a large team of professional staff. Ian is an experienced school Governor and is currently Chair of Governors at one of Warwickshire’s largest junior schools. He is determined to ensure his diverse range of experience and skills are deployed to best effect to ensure children are provided with the right resources and the best learning environment to enable them to succeed in education.

Pete RichingsBoard Member
Pete Richings
Pete Richings has worked in the UK Automobile industry since leaving school at the age of 18. He followed a student apprenticeship gaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Loughborough University.
Apart from a few years he has worked for most of the time for companies which are now part of Jaguar Land Rover. Significant roles have included Director of Chassis Engineering, Director of Hybrids and Electrification and Director of Engineering Technical Services.
Pete also spent four years as a Director of the Coventry and Warwickshire LEP.
He is also heavily involved in motor sport in his spare time being a Technical Director of the Clubmans Register and, as a driver, won the 2016 BARC Clubmans Championship.

Hayley Shortt
Hayley was elected by Coventry Local Authority. Hayley works in a Coventry Primary School so has plenty of experience in Education. She sits on the Performance and Standards committee.

Claire AndersonBoard Member
Claire Anderson
Claire Anderson is a Solicitor with 25 years experience, specialising in Criminal Defence work. In her role she has been responsible for the HR function within the business including contractual issues, staff management issues and employment law issues. She is passionate about state education and as such became the lead school in the RSA Teaching School Alliance across the West Midlands. Lorraine has been the School Improvement Partner to the Redditch Trust since 2013 and received an OBE for 'Services to Education' in January 2015. Lorraine's expertise covers all aspects of school leadership and management and she is now an Education Consultant.

Mark Kalinowski
Finance Director with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of financial and general management within the Manufacturing & Contract Logistics Industry (B2B and B2C) including Rolls Royce plc, Audi AG and DHL. Comercially minded, understanding the purpose and usefulness of financial information for business decision making. Highly skilled in the preparation of tenders, onward customer negotiations, and project management. Strong at building relationships through employee engagement and powerful communicator with customers and investors. Skilled at team building and developing, energising and motivating others. Successfully implemented several manufacturing and financial systems. Has worked in the Americas, Far East and Middle East. Spent 15 years coaching football at the local junior football club.

Adam Scott BrownBoard Member
Adam Scott Brown
Adam has 20 years' experience as an operations Director in large originations. His experience includes system migration, budgetary control, decision making and working within the Nolan principles of integrity and professional responsibility and accountability. He is thus equipped with a variety of business and professional skills and knows the importance of ensuring that successful organisations follow appropriate procedures in delivering a quality service. He is hugely motivated to ensure that children receive the necessary resources in order to achieve well.
