There are many reasons to work at Triumph Learning Trust. We believe that by investing in our staff so that they are developed professionally and happy in their workplace, this will result in better outcomes for our pupils and students.
Benefits
We believe that the best schools are those that offer the best development opportunities to staff. Our staff tell us that our on-going CPD programme supports them in developing their expertise and practice.
Our approach to appraisal is centred around ongoing learning conversations, to both support your professional growth and listen to your needs and aspirations.
Opportunities are intended to supplement your in-school support and consider the development of expertise within your role, as well as towards leadership roles. We facilitate and encourage the use of working parties across the Trust to share learning, and there could be opportunities for mentoring and other bespoke development goals.
All employees have access to our eLearning platform which provides core training courses, as well as access to more specialist learning.
Triumph Learning Trust can also provide support with funding qualifications such as apprenticeships for new and existing employees.
We believe that wellbeing of all our staff is important but we need to back that up with actions rather than just words.
We are developing our Wellbeing policy in combination with staff to put staff at the centre of our actions and ensure we are working together to deliver the best possible environment.
For those that need it, we offer an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) with 24/7 in the moment support, access to counselling sessions and online resources to support a healthy lifestyle.
We offer staff access to occupational health services to support health and wellbeing as well as free eye tests through Specsavers, which also includes a contribution towards glasses should you need them.
We also offer access to private virtual GP services for employees and their dependents, which can give you access to a GP outside of school hours and as a resource for peace of mind.
We automatically enroll all staff into the outstanding Teacher’s and Local Government Pension Schemes. Both pensions are secure pensions backed by the government and offer a defined benefit, so you know from day one what you pension will be worth. On top of your own contributions, the Trust makes a contribution worth a further 20-28% of your salary into your pension every year, depending on which scheme you are in.
In addition, you can opt into making additional payment into a defined contribution pension through the additional voluntary contribution (AVC) scheme.

Our employee-centred and family-friendly policies support you in and beyond your workplace.
We offer enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption paid leave to our staff based on continuous service. People joining from other education institutions will have their continuous service honoured from day one in the Trust. This means you get quicker access to these benefits.
The Trust is committed to offering flexible working where it can in order to support the work/life balance of employees including part-time working options, term-time only working, compressed hours, and job sharing.
We understand that teaching can be a challenging job when you are a parent because you are needed in the classroom during term-time. We encourage our schools to support our staff where they can and to facilitate not missing out on their child’s achievements, such as nativity plays or awards assemblies.
At Triumph Learning Trust we try and offer our staff a wider benefits package beyond their paycheck where we can, and in line with our public sector duty to appropriately use public funds.
In partnership with Vivup, we are able to offer all staff access to Lifestyle discounts, which allows you to save money through the use of gift cards at hundreds of retailers, such as supermarkets, electrical retailers and department stores.
In addition, we have also partnered with Vivup to offer a range of salary sacrifice schemes which either save you money through reducing tax or allow you to spread payments out through your pay. As an employee of the Trust, and after completing your probation period, you would have access to cycle to work, home and electronics, and gym membership schemes. Through Tusker you may be able to get access to an all-inclusive electric vehicle (EV) lease, subject to ESFA approval and meeting eligibility requirements.
Within the school estates we also offer staff discounted EV charging (at school sites with EV chargers) and discounted hiring of school facilities, such as our sports halls or classrooms.
